The services
The site offers a live half-day course, private sessions, and advisory engagements, at the prices listed on the relevant pages. Consulting and build work beyond those offerings is agreed in writing, and the written agreement governs that work.
Bookings and payment
Course seats and private sessions are paid by card at the time of booking, processed by Stripe. If something comes up before your session, your seat moves to a new date. There are no change-of-mind refunds, but you never lose what you have paid: the seat stays yours until it is used. Nothing in these terms excludes the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
What the content on this site is
Pages, posts, and guides on this site are general information, written from my own work. They are not financial, legal, or accounting advice, and they are not a substitute for advice about your specific situation. Advisory engagements are governed by their own agreed scope.
Software and API integrations
Some services involve connecting software systems on your behalf or on mine, including third-party platforms such as QuickBooks Online through Intuit's API. Where a third-party platform is involved, that platform's own terms apply to your use of it. Credentials and data involved in any integration are handled as described in the Privacy Policy, and a connection can be revoked at any time through the platform that granted it.
Your use of the site
Use the site as a normal visitor. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it at volume, or use it to send spam. Booking forms are for genuine bookings and enquiries.
Intellectual property
The content on this site is mine unless noted otherwise. You are welcome to link to it and to quote from it with attribution. Republishing whole pages or passing the material off as your own is not.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or refunding the amount paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes fall to the courts of Victoria.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with an updated date. The version on this page at the time you book is the one that applies to that booking.
